Robert’s generosity was especially evident during the Christmas season. He enjoyed figuring out how to pick these locks, his meticulous nature and passion for this unusual hobby is displayed in a large collection at his home. He could often be found in his garage or truck, with a bag of dog treats, ready for any four legged friend.
Robert loved getting away to the shore, a place where he always created everlasting memories with his wife, children, and grandchildren. He treasured his time spent fishing with his brother in law, Bill. His favorite family tradition was the annual trip up the mountains to cut down the perfect Christmas tree, marking the beginning of the holiday season.

He was the loving father of James McCann (Jennifer), Janine Paxson (Late Paul), Kristina McCann (Andrew Turner), Stephen Brown (Ashley), Sean Brown, Michael Brown (Jennifer Carpenter), Kathleen E.
