Michael Roman, aged 68, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on the morning of Wednesday, May 27, 2026.

Born on July 20, 1957, Michael, was a lifelong Northeast Philadelphia resident. He was often described as tough and brash—qualities that epitomized the genuine, no-nonsense approach he brought into every relationship and challenge. Those who knew him recognized that beneath this tough exterior lay a consistent and unwavering form of tough love, a testament to his sincere care and devotion to others.

Professionally, Michael drove trucks for the United States Postal Service for 25 years. After retiring from the postal service, he continued driving for US Foods, always proudly providing for his family. Michael Roman leaves behind a legacy remembered by those who experienced his unique brand of love and loyalty.

Michael is survived by his wife of 44 years, Tootsie Roman (nee Martuzas); Children Amber Cosmo and Michael Cosmo; grandfather to Mari-Bella, Michael, and Sydney Cosmo. He also leaves behind his in-laws Mary Lee, Chuckie Cianci (Charlene), and Andrew Cianci (Carol).
