Kathleen M. Grassie

Kathleen M. Grassie, affectionately known as Kat, passed away unexpectedly and suddenly on July 5, 2026. Born on June 22, 1983, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, her life, though cut short, was filled with moments of joy and uniqueness that touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Kat’s vibrant spirit and compassionate heart were apparent. She could always be found delighting everyone with her trademark smile, and profound silliness. Her unique style and personality will never be forgotten by those who knew and loved her. Days on the beach by the ocean were where Kat could find herself most at peace. Her affection for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was just another signature touch on Kathleen’s playful nature.

Kathleen’s journey ended far too soon, but those who knew her will forever cherish the invaluable moments and beautiful memories shared.

Kat is survived by her spouse Krystina Grassie (nee Messing); beloved parents Melinda (nee Shapiro) and John Grassie. She also leaves behind her sister Nicole Barnhardt (William) and brother John Grassie, Jr. (Amy Eroh); stepson Cole Davison along with aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends, who will all miss her dearly.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Kat on Thursday, July 9, 2026 at Corso Funeral Services and Cremation 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, Pa 19020 from 10-11am. A memorial service will be held following the visitation at 11am. Interment will be held privately by the family
