It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Eric P. Michalski, Jr., who left us on April 23, 2026, at the tender age of 17. Born on January 12, 2009, Eric’s departure is a heartbreaking loss too great for someone so young.

Eric was a vibrant soul whose passion for life was evident in everything he did. He was deeply devoted to all things Philadelphia sports, a true aficionado who could recite sport statistics with the precision and enthusiasm that only a genuine fan could possess. This was a defining thread woven through the fabric of his daily life.

Known for his signature style, Eric was rarely seen without his faithful mechanical pencil tucked into his pocket, an earbud in his ear, and his hair meticulously styled just right. He loved to be a kind, sweet, and genuine person, but was always prepared to pull off a good prank. At every family gathering, Eric, would prove to be the life of the party. Eric routinely prioritized spending time with family and friends, a true testament to the kind of unique young man he had become.

His final moments were peaceful, spent with his family by his side, a testament to the love and unity that surrounded him throughout his life. Eric’s premature passing leaves a void that will be deeply felt by all who knew him. May his memory be a source of comfort and inspiration to those who love him.

Eric was predeceased by his grandmothers Ann McCloskey and Kathleen Michalski (nee Keller). Eric is survived by his loving parents Tracy (nee Brinson) and Eric P. Michalski; grandfather Steve Brinson; godmother Kelliann Smithers (Harry) and godfather Kyle Witmayer (Jenn). He also leaves behind his cousins Kylee, Damian, and Presley Smithers; Nora and Noah Witmayer along with his aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends, who will all miss him dearly.

Family and friends are invited to attend Eric’s visitation on Friday, May 1, 2026 from 6-8pm at Corso Funeral Services & Cremation 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020 and again on Saturday, May 2, 2026 from 10-11:30am at the funeral home. A memorial service will take place following the visitation beginning at 11:30am. Eric’s parents request those attending Saturday’s visitation and memorial service sport their favorite Philadelphia team attire in his honor.
